Terms and conditions

Last updated 15 October 2026

Who you're dealing with

These terms are between you and Comply Reminder, 59 Westcroft, Chippenham, Wiltshire, SN14 0ND, United Kingdom ("we", "us"). By creating an account or continuing to use Comply Reminder, you agree to these terms. If you use it for a business, you confirm you can agree on its behalf; otherwise you must be 18 or over.

What we provide

An online tool to track certificate, licence and insurance expiry dates and send renewal reminders to your customers by email and text. Reminders and templates are not legal advice — you remain responsible for your own compliance and safety obligations.

Your account

Fair use

You must not use the service unlawfully, for fraud or spam, to infringe anyone's intellectual property, or to interfere with its security (for example malware, probing, scraping, reverse engineering or getting around plan limits). You must not resell the service.

Ownership

We own the service, its software, documentation and branding. We give you a limited, non-transferable right to use it within your plan. Your data stays yours; you let us store and process it only to provide the service.

Plans, payment and cancelling

New accounts get a 14-day free trial with no card needed. Paid plans renew monthly or yearly until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from Billing and keep access until the end of the period you've paid for. Plan changes take effect straight away with a fair part-period charge or credit.

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Payment, billing, tax, cancellation and refund terms are set out in Paddle's Buyer Terms. See also our refund policy.

Service level

We work hard to keep things running, but we can't promise the service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that every message will be delivered. To the fullest extent the law allows, we exclude implied warranties.

Liability

Our total liability is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months before the claim. We're not liable for indirect losses such as lost profits, data or goodwill. Nothing limits liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence.

Suspension and closing accounts

We may suspend or close access for serious or repeated breach of these terms, non-payment, or security or fraud risk. You can delete your account at any time from Settings, which permanently removes your data — download it first if you need it.

General

We may update these terms and will tell you about important changes. Events outside our reasonable control excuse delays. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and its courts have jurisdiction.
